Toddlerhood marks the beginning of a critical language-growth period. Language ability grows at its fastest rate of development during this period. Toddlers learn their native language sounds and successfully produce an increasing number of sounds. Our program realizes how important the family plays into a toddler’s new identity and language development. This is why we place the family at the center of our program for infants and toddlers, since each development unfolds within the context of the family. By building a relationship with our families, the program is able to facilitate the first steps in your child’s learning and language development.
Central to the Baby Bright Toddler Program is the fact that much of what your child learns in the first month and years of life occurs during caregiving routines (greetings, departures, diaper changing, feeding, napping, interaction and play). This program focuses on language and routines as learning opportunities for toddlers and sets the stage by providing developmentally appropriate, safe, inclusive and engaging creative environments.
