Jr. Academics Pre-Kindergarten 4 years-old

When it comes to learning, four-year olds are developing a greater need for new experiences and excitement for school. Our Jr. Academic Pre-K Program was devised to prepare each child for “school readiness”. School readiness is a combination of age, individual growth and experiences. Your child will develop these traits at their own rate. Involvement in this program will promote readiness.

Teachers across the nation state that both Social and Emotional Development is of primary importance in considering school readiness. Children who are not emotionally mature have a much harder time adjusting in school. In order to prepare your child, teachers will ensure that each child has understanding of the idea of solving problems when angry and frustrated without using aggressive behavior, as well as the ability to clean up toys and belongings, get dressed, share and take turns, follow directions and obey rules. The program will also ensure their Physical Developmental needs are met. Children must be able to perform typical large and small muscle activities to be successful in school. Your child will be able to hold a crayon, run, jump, put puzzles together, cut with scissors and many other important muscle activities.
